Ivan Svenda has completed his Masters Degree in Piano performance and Piano pedagogy in 1983 at Janacek’s Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic. After 2 years of full time piano teaching position at a music school in Czech Republic he emigrated to Canada and began teaching piano first at Manitoba Conservatory of Music and for the Preparatory Studies Division at the University of Manitoba and then has continued teaching piano at the private studio at his residence in River Heights until present day with the total of 33 years of piano teaching experience.
